The whole building is falling down around us plus now the boiler has no heat

I’ve been laboring in the same office building for the past 22 years.

  • I have seen a lot of swings in that time.

Hundreds of employees have walked in plus out of the doors plus various weird supervisors have worked here just in the past several years. I have always tried to keep my head down. I don’t want to be area of the office drama. I mind my own company plus I toil hard. Lately, things have been falling apart around here. The front door keeps getting stuck. I got caught in the turn around for thirty minutes Last yearbecause the repair staff was on dinner. Earlier this week, we had a power surge on the second floor plus I lost several days worth of data plus work; Now the boiler isn’t laboring plus there is no heat in the building. It’s only 57 degrees in the dinnerroom plus that is the only venue we have to take our breaks. The boss thinks the boiler problem will be fixed soon, but it’s already been various days plus no one seems to be in a rush to fix the heating problem. The whole building is falling down around us plus now the boiler is shot too. The boss suggested that we bring space heating systems into the office if we cannot handle the cold. It should not be my responsibility to supply heat at toil for myself plus my coworkers. I have several more years with the company plus after that I can retire. I certainly wish they would let me toil from home until that time.
