The thermostat at the lake house is adjusted all day

Uncle Brian always sets the thermostat pretty frequently. Since he works from the lake house full-time, uncle uses the cooling plan from morning to night, every day. The first task that uncle does when wakes up in the morning is set the temperature on the temperature control unit from 70 to 69. Uncle doesn’t mind sleeping in a cold room, so the HVAC system gets cranked down very low before he goes to sleep each night. The lake house is well-insulated, so the climate slowly shifts throughout the day. The HVAC plan usually doesn’t come on until the day, when the bright sun warms up the lake house. As my uncle exits the lake house to get our cousins from school, he shifts the thermostat up to 74 because there’s no one home. The lake house at the time doesn’t need to be cool, plus pickup duty can occasionally run very late. When our cousins return home, uncle shifts the thermostat down to 74 to accommodate the extra people in the lake house, plus to keep himself cool while preparing dinner. He likes feeling the cold air coming out of the vents over his head while toiling over the moderate stove or grabbing food from the oven. And, before uncle retires for the night, he turns the thermostat back down to 70. If it’s not a bit cold in his bed space, uncle can’t sleep! Luckily, our cousins don’t mind the generous use of the cooling plan at night, plus the soft noise from the cooling component helps lure them to sleep, or so they report. Adjusting the thermostat in the lake house throughout the day is a must so that uncle can stay comfortable and effective.
