The stock trading floor has a robust AC system set up at the trading building

If you’re yet to experience a zoo before, going to see a stock trading floor at a large stock brokerage supplier will give you a clue of what it’s like.

From the moment the stock market is open, the trading floor is the epitome of calamities.

Some individuals work best when they’re walking, so there are people always moving around the room. A victorious sale, trade, or purchase can cause people to fist-pump out of their seats and all around. The norm is for everyone to spend every minute of the trading hours conversing, and doing a lot of antics! All those humans, all of the walking, plus the talking calls for an air conditioner system that can cater for the antics. Uncle Mike’s building has an effective AC unit , where everyone gets their money’s worth when it’s operational. The building has an Air Conditioning expert who makes official tours to the trading floor to inspect and fix the system. The AC expert replaces the air filters when needed, investigates the ducts for gaps, plus ensuring that all of the vents are operating officially. Some months back, the aircon unit was faulty and the trading floor was unhappy. All traders moved as slow as possible and spoke in low tones to keep the room from heating up. The situation was taxing to bear the heat. But, the stock market won’t cease working for an individual brokerage firm’s broken a/c, so Uncle Mike and his colleagues kept working. They were in luck when the Heating and Air Conditioning worker came by within an hour. None of them had to suffer for long. The AC worker quickly identified the concern (a clogged drainage line), remedied it, and exchanged the air filter since he was in the building. Uncle Mike and his colleagues prefer it when the AC worker stops by the office, and they all tell that story to every new recruit when they start working on the floor.
