The janitor can't service the Heating plus A/C problem

When there was a problem with the heating method in the college, I called the janitor to work on the issue… I hired the janitor multiple weeks previously, when we had a spot open on the payroll, however the janitor has several references listed on her resume and I called a couple of sites.

They provided the woman a wonderful recommendation and no a single had anything exhausting to say about her character or work ethic.

I honestly thought I made a wonderful decision until I called the janitor to work on the furnace. It was the first time the janitor was responsible for repairing something in the building. The janitor could not service the problem with the Heating plus A/C system, however she spent multiple mornings working on the Heating plus A/C problem, and then she finally provided up and told me that I should call a professional. I told the janitor that she was the professional that I hired and I expected him to have the knowledge to service the Heating plus A/C system, then after all, the woman had her Heating plus A/C certification paperwork linked to the resume, however of course, I didn’t bother to check the certification, which I found out was totally bogus. The woman broke down and admitted that she wasn’t qualified for the task and the paperwork was fake. I will never make that mistake again and I am much more selective when it comes to choosing employees to work inside the college buildings. Our new custodial staff are all certified and knowledgeable employees with a combined fifty years of experience in the college janitorial field.
