My wifey and I looked at multiple houses before the people I was with and I found a locale that made us suppose twice. It was $200,000 over our budget, but I really wanted the home in the hills. It had a good view of the valley and it was located in a neighborhood that was up and coming, before the people I was with and I close on the house, our wifey and I had a supplier go to the home to perform a full inspection on the inside and outside of the house. The two of us did not think what to expect from the inspection report and some of the items were particularly surprising. One of the most surprising items was the fact that the HVAC duct needed to be replaced. The home was only 15 years old, but the inspector said there was a lot of damage from rodents. He did not see any evidence of rodents inside of the house, but the HVAC duct complications needed to be addressed. The cost for the repairs was going to be a significant amount of currency. The two of us had some other items as well that made us rethink the amount the people I was with and I were offering on the house. The two of us asked the owner to deduct some of these expenses from the final price, so the people I was with and I could have the repairs made. The owners surprised our wifey and I when he agreed to lower the price of the house, then even though the HVAC duct needed some major repairs, everything worked out perfectly. The two of us closed on the home about multiple weeks after the people I was with and I got the final report from the inspector and our wifey and I were able to make all of the swings to the heating and air conditioner method as soon as the people I was with and I moved into the house.
