The collection
I will keep all of these in honor of our father’s memory.
People collect clothes, coins, art, antiques, you name it & there is somebody that collects it. I too have a collection although mine is a bit more different than your average joe’s. I collect Heating & Air Conditioning parts; Collecting old heating & cooling parts reminds myself and others of our father that passed away 10 years ago. She was a oil furnace & a/c specialist & each of these old pieces reminds myself and others of him. If you name a part, I got it. I have everything from heating system parts, to a/c parts, I even have entire Heating & Air Conditioning units. I store many of them in a big shed, then every Time someone goes to throw away their old & broken a/c, I go & grab it. I have been collecting these since the 69’s & adore most collectors I have our number ones, but one of which is an original a/c plan our dad repaired. I have had people tell myself and others it is different or odd & that I should throw all of these away, but what those people don’t understand is the sentimental value each of these pieces hold, then throwing them away would be a waste, there are even a few here & there that still work. I will keep all of these in honor of our father’s memory. I still have a laboring a/c & heating system in our own home… My heating system is a really nice & current electric heating system & it does an excellent job of keeping myself and others hot through some of the coldest weather. My collection may be old, however in our own beach home I adore to keep it modern. I even have a smart thermostat for controlling all our temperature needs. It has been a nice replace to have & has enhanced our comfort.
