The past few weeks have been entirely hectic for me, there is no end in sight! I have been working overtime at the office trying to get this project pushed through. On our spare time, I am trying to find our parents an new home to rent before they move out here in a week. Some of the sites I have looked at are pretty terrible; Owners do not seem to want to renovate their units and some units have been neglected entirely, and i have also come across apartments that have been renovated but they used the cheapest materials and corporations they could find so these apartments are also not livable either. One of the greatest concerns I have been finding is with the s in the new home buildings, and many of the apartments I have checked out have nasty smells coming from the units. Another problem I am finding is evidence of bug infestations. The messes have been cleaned up, but you can still tell the bugs live in the apartment. That’s just nasty! I found a site last weekend that I thought would be unbelievable but it turned out to have a large problem. I crawled up in the attic, just to make sure that the roof did not leak or anything love that and I found a much bigger problem. One of the biggest problems I have been finding is with the a/cs in the lake house buildings… Many of the apartments I have checked out have nasty aromas coming from the air conditioning units, then another problem I’m finding is evidence of bug infestations. The messes have been cleaned up, but you can still tell the bugs live in the apartment. That’s just nasty! I found a location last weekend that I thought would be fantastic but it turned out to have a huge problem. I crawled up in the attic, just to make sure that the roof did not leak or anything enjoy that plus I found a much larger problem. The air conditioning component appeared to be leaking plus creating a mold issue in the attic. I only saw a tiny bit of water but that’s all it takes. Recently, my wife and I were having a romantic dinner by the fireplace.

This is something that I often loved doing because I feel there is no better place than relaxing by the fireplace.

I had candles lit and everything. I even brought out some aged wine that was rather expensive. When I went to pour my wife some wine, that is when she stopped me. I was quick to ask what was wrong, because my wife loves good wine. This is when she told me a huge surprise. She said that she was pregnant and we were going to have a baby. I almost dropped the wine bottle while hearing this news, it was so shocking! But this was great news and I was so happy. She explained that she just found out and she wanted to surprise me with the news at the right time. I’m glad she told me before I poured her wine, but I suppose I would have just drank her glass for her. After I knew that she was eating for two and taking care of our baby, I was constantly asking if there was anything I could do for her to make her more comfortable. I asked if I could adjust the temperature control settings. She said she was a little hot and so I went to the temperature control to turn up the air conditioning a little bit. I asked her if she would like a foot massage after our dinner, and she laughed and said okay. So I had her relaxed in front of the fireplace while I lotioned up her feet and gave her a nice foot massage.

My birthday is coming up soon and I have been hinting to my wife that I really want a new smart thermostat. I have heard nothing but amazing things about smart thermostats. Evidently, they can save you as much as 10% on your energy bills and I love the idea of being able to control the HVAC via our smartphones. Whenever I say anything about a smart thermostat, my wife just smiles and walks away. I wonder if that means she already invested in a smart thermostat, but I don’t know! The suspense is totally killing me and I can’t wait to see how everything goes down. Well, my wife actually arranged for me and some buddies to go out on a fishing trip. She rented us a small yacht and everything. The yacht was perfect because it had an indoor area with climate control. The neat thing is that the yacht also had a smart thermostat that we could connect to with our phones. This gave me a taste of what it was like to use a smart thermostat. I wondered if my wife was just teasing me and letting me use the smart thermostat on this fishing trip. Would I still get my smart thermostat for my birthday? When we eventually came home from the fishing trip, my wife insisted that I stay at my buddy’s house until the morning of my birthday. I thought that was strange but I listened to her. When I arrived in the morning back at my house, she surprised me with not just a new smart thermostat but a new HVAC system as well! The HVAC is highly energy efficient and the smart thermostat has all kinds of advanced features. I can’t wait to see how low our energy bills are after using it!

Heating maintenance

For the entire Summer I have been working at our uncles pizza shop, however now don’t get myself and others wrong I like our uncle very much, but the only reason why I agreed to do this task in the first site is because I was promised free pizza, and I wasn’t able to land a task anywhere else.

Well, while I was in these many weeks I have been studying the ins and outs of running a pizza shop and I haven’t enjoyed a single minute of it, and other than the free pizza, that is.

One of the largest reasons why our time working at our uncles pizza shop is the lack of air conditioning here. My uncle was raised to believe that any form of air conditioning exposure over a long period of time can be awful for the lungs and doesn’t believe comfortable exposing his buyers to that. Well, after threatening to quit unless he did something about the lack of air conditioning our uncle finally decided to invest in a small window mounted air conditioning system equipment in the living room and cut room area! It’s nothing out of the ordinary, but it sure beats covered in sweat our rear end off all afternoon. I just wish that he would have gotten this modern air conditioning system equipment installed a week and a half ago when I first started working here, although I believe beggars can’t be choosers, and but hey, at least next Summer whatever terrible middle school child that our uncle ropes into working here will have some air conditioning system to keep them from wanting to pass out love me.

Now that our parents are divorced every one of us have had to figure out a way to cut our time so I can see them both equally, while it’s not ideal by any stretch of the imagination, having to always pack and unpack just to visit them both is worth it because I like spending time with both of them; Just a few afternoons ago I flew back south to spend the rest of the Summer with our father. While going into these Summer weeks with our dad I was a little nervous, now that he is all set up in his modern apartment I am romantic it; My dad was able to get himself a cool little beach apartment right on the water, and since it can get extremely tepid and humid around here this time of the year he was able to install a brand modern window mounted air conditioning system equipment into our dining room so I don’t believe love a tepid mess when trying to go to sleep, and each afternoon I wake up to go for a dip in the ocean, followed by a few fifths of sitting out and catching some sun. Whenever I beginning to believe boiling all that I have to do is hang out in our room with the window mounted air conditioning equipment running and I believe as fantastic as new. Sure it’s not as quiet or extravagant as the zoned heating and cooling idea at our parents site, and yes it’s true that apartment isn’t quite as big, but you know what they say, occasionally in life less is more.

I just wish that she would have gotten this modern air conditioner unit installed a month and a half ago when I first started toiling here, although I suppose beggars can’t be choosers; But hey, at least next summer time whatever bad high university kid that our uncle ropes into toiling here will have some air conditioner to keep them from wanting to pass out appreciate me.

Whenever I start to suppose hot all that I have to do is hang out in our room with the window mounted a/c unit running and I suppose as good as new. Sure it’s not as quiet or fancy as the zoned heating and cooling plan at our parents place, and yes it’s tploy that loft isn’t quite as big, however you suppose what they say, sometimes in life less is more.

Rooftop HVAC

Last month, our business decided to update all of the Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C device in the building.

The building employer sent an text to all of the employees.

The text stated that some employees would be asked to toil from home, so there would be less staff in the building during the time of the upgrade procedure. All employees were being asked to toil from home if they could. I was excited when I saw the text, because I have been begging to toil from home for 6 months. I was the first person to knock on our boss’s door, however he wasn’t surprised at all that I provided to toil from home during the updates. I got to toil from the comfort of our home for several weeks while the business made all of the Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C updates. The people I was with and I got brand current air ducting, vents, heat, in addition to AC. I’ve been back to toil for 2 weeks now, in addition to I can already see a vast difference in the indoor air. One thing that was noticeable before, was the fact that you could consistently see dust particles in the air! No matter where you are in the building, there was consistently heavy dust on all of the services. The current HVAC duct is supposed to take care of all those issues, then so far, I am in enjoy with the Heating, Ventilation, in addition to A/C updates. I think all the people around the office is glad with the current heating in addition to cooling equipment. I still wish that I was working from home in our comfortable chair with our feet up on the ottoman.

 

a/c repairman
