We live in an outdated house that was transformed into separate apartment house units; but however, the apartments share one central heating plus cooling system. The old boiler system in the basement does a fair job of heating the house all winter season long, but the cooling system could use a lot of part replacements. It doesn’t matter much, because our next door neighbor’s have the temperature control in their apartment, plus they hate the cooling system. I swear that they set the temperature control so the gas furnace runs all year round. I am regularly perspiring through our shorts whether it’s the dead of winter season or the middle of summer season. I swear that they don’t use the central cooling system unless it’s over 95 degrees outside. I have tried compromising with them on the central heating plus cooling settings… But they call myself and others spoiled millennials plus turn the heat up higher.
