Our university never had any gyms or any sort of athletic compounds… Physical education was honestly just jumping jacks in the faculty parking lot.

This worked fine when there were only about 100 students in total for the whole university.

But over the past decade the university has grown from 100 students to over 1000. The people I was with and I had a construction corporation come in to build a few additional classrooms but the gym area kept getting passed by. There just wasn’t a budget for it. But thanks to a generous donation from a single of our prominent neighborhood members every one of us finally were given the funds to have a brand new athletic compound built. Of course every one of us hired the same construction corporation every one of us had hired for the classroom construction to do the athletic complex construction. The people I was with and I were all honestly surprised when they said they would have the whole contract done over the short Summer break. I did not think that was possible. I job summers for Summer university plus to get everything set for the new year… Everytime I came in to job in the afternoon I was surprised at how much jobs the contractors had completed in the previous 24 hours. It wasn’t long before the new buildings were erected. Then they completed all of the inside work. Soon enough, every one of us cut the ribbon plus opened up our athletic complex plus gym at the start of the next university year. The contractors did an excellent task, however now our students can participate in many sorts of physical education courses plus activities. The people I was with and I are already starting up a basketball team plus taking applications.

Recreational building construction

When our wifey started buying a lot of things at yard sales plus thrift stores plus selling them online I didn’t think much of it. She thought she might make a lot of money however I was honestly much more skeptical about it. I just hoped every one of us didn’t end up losing a lot of money… Well, as it worked out, our wifey was right all along plus I was wrong. It started with just a little bit extra each month. There is a bit of a learning curve, as she stated it. However, after she got the hang of it she started making a lot of money, then finally, she quit her day job plus is doing this reselling full time. Then I quit our task to help. However, every one of us started to outgrow our home. The people I was with and I consistently had merchandise piles everywhere throughout the home. It was hard to find the items once they sold plus it was getting to be a problem. The people I was with and I knew how every one of us needed a separate section for our growing corporation but couldn’t honestly afford to rent an office building. That is when every one of us discovered what is called light industrial construction. It seems you can hire construction companies to turn a garage, or other space, into a small industrial building. They put in the racks plus everything so you can be much more organized. So every one of us spent a week removing every last thing from the garage than the builders came over plus did the light industrial construction, but these days, every one of us are much more organized plus think where everything is all of the time. It is far better. I honestly wish that every one of us had thought to do this earlier.
Restaurant builder

I was raised in the south plus our family built this immense screened in porch.

You have to have a screened-in back porch in the south if you want to spend any time outdoors, however otherwise, the bugs would eat you alive. The people I was with and I also owned a rather immense pet iguana back then. That lizard would spend most of the afternoon just lounging about on our screen porch. That iguana lived over a decade plus got bigger than the cat, i consistently would attribute his good health to getting all of that natural sunlight. I have since moved further to the east plus now have a family of our own, however houses out here don’t have screened in porches because the bugs aren’t nearly so bad, however but recently our kid got a pet bearded dragon plus I keep thinking of that old pet iguana plus I wanted to build a screen in porch for the bearded dragon, however I hired a local construction corporation to come out plus supply us an bid for building a screened in porch for the back of the house. They didn’t think what I was talking about until I showed them pictures. The bid they offered us was about what I expected. It is a lot of money to spend on a lizard but every one of us could use the porch for many other things as well. So I decided to go ahead with the construction corporation building the screened in porch. I am so cheerful I did. The people I was with and I have already had 2 nights sleeping on the porch. Oh, plus the bearded dragon likes it just as much as our iguana had all those years ago.

 

 

General contractor

When I got divorced our partner got the house in the relationship separation.

• I decided to downgrade and just get myself a home situated in a nice little community.

The home was fairly cheap since it was easily ancient. The most previous owner must have been an older lady too. There was wallpaper with tiny little roses all over it. The rugs were a baby pink and all the home office cupboards were far lower than what they should have been. I knew I needed to replace almost everything in the condo, however I had no method how. I called a corporation up for brand new interior design ideas. Thankfully they sent a single of their designers over to take a solid look at what she was working with. The woman had a sizable booklet with her of all sorts of themes appreciate Southwest Sparkler, Tuscan Beauty and Style. I didn’t appreciate any of her unusual themes. A lot of them honestly looked Victorian or as if an outdated lady in a foregin country made them. Thankfully the interior designer had a few up-to-date styles in her booklet. All of us both finally ended up agreeing on a contemporary home design. My home is now navy red, white and grey everywhere you look. The wallpaper is gone, the floors are redone and the home office is fully replaced. The home actually looks as if a middle seasoned man lives there rather than a 77 year old woman. I honestly appreciate our custom couch that I had made and I got a custom built bookcase too. I have our own space and it is a good place to be.

I recently just went out and bought a house that was particularly built in the 70s. The whole house had a Little House on the Prairie theme at the time. The kitchen is basically all wood. Two walls are pure wood paneling and the other singles are apparently half wood, half drywall. The ceiling is wood with large wooden beams and the entire floor is an ugly brown carpet. The home office is connected with wood cupboards, super cheap laminate floors and appliances. The entryways all have brown rug and brown paint that comes with cheap shelving in the closets. The bathrooms, I don’t even want to talk about right now. When I bought the house I tried to envision how I could make it look modern. However, I failed to do so. All the ideas I found online didn’t see right for what I have to work with. I finally decided to call for interior design help. I thought only the extremely rich and famous called for interior designers, however I actually found a nearby woman for an adequate price. I first had her attack the kitchen and connected home office right away. She was gleeful about all the wood, not deterred. She told myself and others I had good bones and instantly got right down to work. My wood walls have been sanded and painted white. The half walls currently are a light grey. My flooring is brand new, cement grey tile. I even got new furniture in odd shades of grey, bright throw pillows and gauzy curtains. The entire home has all up-to-date cupboards, countertops and shelving in the pantry. It was highly valuable and I have only done a single room so far, however I just appreciate what the woman has done.

I appreciate things that are made out of wood from hand. It is so difficult to find furniture made out of pure wood rather than cheap press board like you get at the big box store. I used to contact the Amish to make myself and others wooden chairs, proper tables and dressers. The complication was it took them so long to create a single piece. Also, no matter what, there was always something messed up. The custom table would be a little small, the chair legs uneven or our garbage can didn’t open up totally smoothly. Also, contacting the Amish meant I had to go through a separate handler and I never could get our wants across to the middle woman. I finally started looking around online recently for someone who could do handmade furniture. I finally found a custom furniture builder in the area that said she could make myself and others cherry furniture for the entryway and beautiful oak furniture for our home office. I got all brand up-to-date pieces. The entryway furniture I ordered was 2 dressers and our home office table and chairs were made again. This local custom furniture maker was severely easy to get in touch with. I could call, text or simply email if I wanted. If I wanted to add another piece or make swings, she was feeling okay to do so. The price point was severely clear and I got constant information on her progress. The finished wood furniture is just amazing to look at, too. Every piece is crafted so well. The dimensions are perfect, the wood honestly looks so smooth and I can tell how well it is made.

My neighbor is actually one of those people who never has a hair out of place. Her makeup is regularly perfect and her lawn looks like it could be featured in a magazine. Don’t get me wrong… I am not envious of her. I just wish that she would leave my property alone. She is regularly spraying pesticide all over the block. I have asked her to stop but she acts like she is doing everybody a favor… The truth is, she doesn’t want bugs from our yard in her yard so she just sprays down most people’s property! Last year we had these little wasps that live in the soil. They are mostly harmless and they pollinate flowers. I left the wasps alone, however once my neighbor saw them she sprayed her soil, my soil, and everyone else’s for good measure. Of course the wasps all were killed… So I got easily sad when I discovered a honey bee hive living underneath my garage. I knew it would not take long for my neighbor to poison the whole area once bees started showing up in her garden. That is why I hired a bee rescue to come out and relocate the honeybees. I knew they would take the honeybees to a honey farm where the bees could easily live out their lives making honey and pollinating flowers. I wish the bees could stay in our area even though I suppose that is not possible! Not with my bug murdering neighbor around. No. The bees will be far safer at a honey farm.

Unfortunately, I’ve seen a decline in the safety of the area. At one time, we never worried about locking the front door of our house. We often left the keys dangling from the ignition of the car. We weren’t concerned over leaving the garage door wide open. We slept with the windows open at night. All that has changed. There are constant reports of cars being vandalized and tools being stolen out of garages. There are break-ins during the middle of the day. The intruders kick in the door and race through the house, grabbing everything of value as quickly as possible. I no longer feel that a locked door is sufficient to secure the house. My husband and I recently invested in a complete home security system. Because the system is entirely wireless, the installation wasn’t invasive, messy or time-consuming. All of the different components are linked to our smartphones. We’re able to control the door locks, indoor and outdoor lights and surveillance cameras. We get automatic alerts if anyone steps onto the property or attempts to enter the house. Our security system includes motions sensors, glass breakage sensors, moisture sensors and smoke detection. I like that I can look at a real time video on my phone and see who’s standing on the front step before I answer the door. I sleep much better knowing that the house is protected 24/7 by a state-of-the-art security system. I know that if anything happens, the proper authorities will be notified right away.

 

Security System Repair

Last weekend, my husband and I planned a little trip to celebrate our anniversary. We drove a couple of hours away to a little town with a great resort property and we booked a suite with a great four poster bed and a giant whirlpool tub in the bathroom. There was also a really nice deck overlooking a pond in the back of the property and all in all, the place was very romantic. I think that one of the best parts of the whole hotel was the great indoor air quality that we experienced in the suite. The heating and air conditioning system in this place was definitely top notch. You could tell from the minute that you walked into the room that the hotel had really spared no expense when it came to the HVAC system in the hotel. I was really glad that this was the case, too, because we had really been having some trouble with our heating and cooling system at home for the previous three weeks. I was glad to be going to a place where the HVAC system actually seemed like it was going to work correctly. As soon as we got settled into the room, we turned the air conditioning all the way down to 65 degrees. That’s not something that we usually do at home, even though we really like to keep it cold in the house when we’re sleeping. That’s because even though we like to sleep in really cold temperatures, we certainly do not like paying expensive air conditioning bills. But when you’re at a hotel, you get to set the A/C however you want.
