Before the Christmas holiday, I was called to go on an important business trip, but my wife seemed a little concerned and she told me that I better be home for Christmas! She said that she was going to have a special surprise for me, and I told her that I was looking forward to it and I would definitely be there. The business meeting that I attended wasn’t too bad, but I particularly loved the place because the lobby was nice and hot with great temperature control settings, and they had a costly HVAC plan with a nice UV light air purifier. Then I was excited when I spoke to some guys who said they were travelling back my way and they would be excited to give me and others a ride. It was a long drive, but they had a great heating plan and these guys were full of cheer. I made it back home just in time, and the big surprise was new radiant heated floors! My wife had them installed while I was away, and the icing on the cake was the new smart temperature control! I was so excited and we all had the best Christmas ever!

I was surprised when a friend of mine asked if I would go ice-skating with her, when it wasn’t even winter season yet, and I asked her if it was even a thing to go ice-skating before the winter had arrived, and she laughed and said she knew a great place where they had a powerful cooling system that worked to keep the ice cold.

She said that I had better bundle up because it was going to be cold.

I thought it was odd going with my winter coat because it was kind of hot outside, however when we got to the ice-skating place though, my friend was right, it was absolutely chilly inside of there, like walking into a large refrigerator. The cooling unit was some type of powerful commercial a/c plan and I was impressed. Both of us were able to go out there skating, but the place was pretty crowded. I remember saying to my friend that I wished there weren’t so many people out there on the ice. Then suddenly, the a/c plan failed and they told people to get off the ice for our safety. Most people decided to leave even though the workers there ensured everybody that a HVAC specialist would be arriving soon. My friend and I decided to just get some food and we just hung around and talked for a long time. It was a great time to be honest. Lately I have been noticing that there’s a really weird smell that’s been coming through our heating ducts in our apartment.

It wasn’t something that happened gradually, either.

It happened all of a sudden and we don’t know where in the world the smell came from. At first I thought that something must have died somewhere in one of the HVAC ducts, but we couldn’t figure out what could have gotten inside of a closed circuit like the ventilation ducts. The smell started to be so bad that it was making our eyes water, and we just had no idea what we could do about it. We opened up all of the windows, but the weather has really been cooling down lately and that made the house just a little bit too chilly for us. Plus, any time the heating system kicked on, it just sent that awful smell all through the house again. I finally called up our local HVAC company to see if they had any ideas about what it could be. The HVAC technician that I spoke with told me that sometimes, you might get a gap or a crack in your air ducts and that mold or mildew can start growing in there. That sort of thing can make a terrible smell which will then infiltrate your whole ventilation system. He suggested that we get our air ducts cleaned professionally and then install a whole home air purification system to run in tandem with our furnace and A/C system. I hope he’s right and that it fixes the awful smell!

I keep playing dumb plus acting love there is not going to be a pool though

My spouse used to be an avid swimmer, back in the day. He was in the running to go to the Olympics 30 years ago. He consistently told me that he wanted a beach house with a swimming pool. However that never seemed to be in the working budget. With 4 little boys there is consistently something else that would take precedent. Every time every one of us moved to accommodate our expanding family he would walk through at the houses with swimming pools but every one of us consistently ended up moving into the houses that were closer to the university instead. Well all of the men are grown now plus our spouse plus myself are not getting any younger. This year will be our 25th ceremony so I decided to do something special. I decided to have a pool constructed in our backyard. I hired on a local general contractor to come out plus make sure it was feasible. Then I had them get right to work. Of course our spouse noticed plus I said I was having them put in a rose garden. It wasn’t too long before he figured out what they were honestly doing though. He knows they are putting in the pool however I keep denying it. He is so gleeful plus keeps talking about taking up swimming once again. He also keeps asking when our pool construction will be done. The contractors told me it will be on the 28th. That is our 25th birthday. I keep playing dumb plus acting love there is not going to be a pool though. This is a ton of fun however I can’t wait until the pool construction is complete. I have never seen our spouse this worked up.
