I got into an accident, but it wasn’t so bad

Recently, I got into a bit of a car accident.

I was just there stuck at a traffic light on a blazing hot day. I probably should have had my A/C system on earlier, but I was just driving around with my windows down. So I decided to roll up the windows and I was messing with the temperature control settings. All the cars were starting to move all of a sudden as I could see through my peripheral vision. I should have looked directly in front of me though but I was still trying to get the A/C settings just right. I ended up bumping into the car in front of me. For some crazy reason, that car was not moving even though the cars in front of him and around had all gone along with the green light. I don’t know, maybe he wasn’t paying attention like I wasn’t paying attention. We ended up having to pull over to exchange information. I didn’t even want to get out of the car once the A/C system was working, it was just too hot. We both checked out the back of his bumper for any damages. After looking for a long while, we both determined that there wasn’t any damage. There were no marks or scratches and no bumps. The guy was pretty cool about the situation and told me to just go ahead and enjoy the A/C in my car if it was working. It was working alright, but I couldn’t enjoy it until I hopped back into my car! When I got back in my car, the A/C was feeling really nice. I ended up calling a buddy of mine and told him what happened and said how cool the guy I hit was about everything.

The best decision of my life

I’m being honest when I say that getting into the HVAC industry was the best decision of my life.

I didn’t even hesitate when choosing to go to an HVAC trade school.

I wanted to focus on a real career and not have to worry about writing essays and researching things I wasn’t interested in. With the HVAC trade school, I was able to get exactly what I was looking for and more. This is where I actually met my wife. I told her it was impressive that a woman was going to become an HVAC professional. She was very competitive too and worked hard to be the most knowledgeable one in the class. Apart from her, I was probably the second best in the class, but she taught me a lot of things that wasn’t covered by our professors. We both ended up starting at the same HVAC company and we both started dating soon after. It wasn’t a problem in the beginning until everybody knew about our relationship. The boss had to tell us that one of us would have to leave the HVAC company. This was several years of dedication to this place and we were not happy about this. We ended up both quitting our jobs at the same time. We laughed about it and I asked her what we were going to do. She said we should start our own HVAC company, and that’s exactly what we did. It seemed like she had been planning this all along after she got enough experience as an HVAC professional. I felt like I was just going along for the ride. Eventually I asked her to marry me and we have a fantastic business and marriage now. We are planning on having kids soon too!

The heating system breaking down didn’t even phase me

We absolutely love our beach house.

We have a nice HVAC system with a smart thermostat, so we’re always comfortable.

The beautiful thing about the smart thermostat is the fact that it saves us big money on the energy bills. If you don’t have a smart thermostat yet, you don’t know what you’re missing. Anyway, the thing we love the most about our beach house is the fireplace in our living room. Whenever we have parties or just want to be comfortable, we get a fire going in the fireplace. Of course, we also have a fireplace out on the beach which is substantially larger. We have enjoyed that fireplace a lot as well, especially when we have friends that are looking to have a bonfire. Everybody loves to come out whenever we do bonfires because you can’t have such sizable fires just anywhere. Recently, we even had the heating system break down during one of our parties. The funny thing is, I wasn’t even concerned. I just kept feeding the fireplace and we had plenty of heating through the whole house. I kept the fireplace blazing through the evening and called the HVAC company in the morning to have the heating system fixed. They were able to get to my house by noon, and the fireplace was really working for us. I probably wouldn’t mind not using the heating system at all if I didn’t have to keep getting up in the middle of the night to feed the fireplace. It’s a great way to save on the heating bills though.

I hate working through poor indoor air conditions

I had to go to work this week even though the air conditioner didn’t work much at all. I knew it was going to be a miserable week, because my boss called Monday morning and told me to wear a pair of shorts instead of my work pants. The woman told me that the thermostat was broken and the air conditioner wasn’t working at all. It was going to be a very warm day in the store and she wanted to tell all of the employees that they could wear shorts. I was happy for the phone call and update, so I could dress appropriately for the indoor air conditions. I hoped that the problem would be fixed the next day, but my boss gave everyone the news before we went home for the day. The air conditioner would be broken until Thursday and I was scheduled to work every single day. I couldn’t call the boss and tell them that I was sick, because that would look suspicious and I didn’t want to use all of my vacation days on an air conditioner problem. I hated working through the poor indoor air conditions, but I felt it was necessary. The temperatures inside the building that day were close to eighty degrees, but the bobs kept the door open as much as possible. We ran a fan in the front lobby and two more in the back. I was so happy when the AC problem was finally fixed later that week. I wasn’t the only person dealing with a major case of grumpiness at work.

The storm damaged the AC unit

He told me to check for a burn in the electrical line

My wife and I live in a mobile home on the outside of town. There is a 1-mile dirt road with lots of gray, black, and white rocks. There are trees scattered on the sides of the road. My wife and I are the only people that live down the dirt road. We live 7 miles away from the closest grocery store and gas station. If I want to go to the mall or a speciality store, it takes me almost an hour. My wife and I have a well for water and a septic system for plumbing. The mobile home has been fixed up a lot, but it is still 40 years old. We don’t have central heat or AC. Last weekend my wife and I found out that the AC unit was struck by a bolt of lightning. We were away for the weekend when the storm occurred. We came back home and the AC unit was off. My wife tried to turn on the power, but nothing happened. I tried to unplug the system and plug it back in, but that didn’t help with the issue either. I called my dad and he suggested that the weekend storm may have damaged the AC unit. He told me to check for a burn in the electrical line. My dad thought that the AC unit had been struck by lightning. My wife and I carefully looked at the AC unit and that’s when we found a burn mark the size of a quarter. It was located on the back of the machine and clearly the spot where a single bolt of lightning struck and killed the machine.

I thought a small ductless heater was a great idea

After my wife got rid of her car, we stopped working in the garage.

I never used the back door, so it didn’t make any sense to park in the driveway.

I always parked on the street. My wife and I started to spend a lot of time in the garage after we bought a TV one summer. The weather isn’t very warm and humid, so it was comfortable to sit in the garage and watch television. We got to feel the cool night air while still enjoying quality time together. When the weather got colder, I still wanted to sit in the garage and relax. It was way too cold, so my wife suggested calling a contractor to install a ductless heater inthe space. I thought it was a wonderful idea and I was happy to call a couple of different HVAC contractors to get an estimate for the work. One of those contractors gave me a great price and they offered to complete the work the following day. I was sold when I realized we could have the ductless heater installed that quickly. The price tag for the new heating machine was relatively small compared to the cost of our central furnace. The heater has a thermostat to control the heat and the indoor temperatures. It has a powerful fan that helps distribute the heat nicely. The whole room feels warm even though the heater is only in one corner of the room. I thought the ductless heater was a good idea, but it turned out to be a really great idea.

The pilot light on the furnace was out

A couple of months after my husband and I got a divorce. We were fighting all of the time, so both of us thought it was best to get a divorce. I had to call him to help me with the furnace. I didn’t know if he would answer my phone call or not, but I thought it was worth a chance. He was always in charge of fixing the furnace and other things in the house. It was one of the things that I missed about the guy. He answered the phone on the second ring and his voice was kind and gentle. I told him that the furnace wasn’t working properly. I thought he might give me some instructions on how to light the pilot, but he actually offered to come over and look at the furnace. I thought it was a very sweet gesture, but I was certainly nervous to see him after a couple of months. I didn’t want to call a furnace repair company, so I accepted the offer of help. A couple of hours later, my knight in shining armor came to the rescue. He looked cute and I missed his smile more than I remembered. We talked for hours after he fixed the pilot light and we had coffee and dinner, and orange juice in the morning. He stayed for three days before the two of us came to our senses. It was great to see him again, but I knew we were just repeating the same mistakes we made the first time.

How to minimize strain on your HVAC system during summer?

During Summer, your HVAC system works extra hard to keep the temperature in your house low.

This strain may cause the HVAC system to break down, especially if it was not optimized to work well before the summer heat.

However, there are measures you can take to minimize strain on your HVAC system in summer. One is by investing in a programmable thermostat that you can set to cool the house just before people enter the home or invest in a smart thermostat that is Wi-Fi enabled that can be controlled using a phone, a tablet, or a computer. These kinds of thermostats will help minimize strain on your HVAC unit as you can choose to switch off the AC when no one is home and switch it back on when people are about to come in. Another way to minimize strain is by scheduling regular unit maintenance so that they can inspect your ductworks. Ducts with no obstacles will run efficiently without strain and deliver sufficient air to your home. Ducts leaking and dirty will strain your unit, making it more prone to wear and tear. Regular AC servicing will be ideal for minimizing strain on your unit as the ductwork will be checked and sealed in case of leaks. Changing air filters is another way of reducing strain as dirty air filters make it hard for air to penetrate through, forcing the unit to work extra hard to get the needed air and to keep your home cool in summer. Insulate your ceiling and walls and check the window and door seal to ensure they don’t allow cool air to escape outside.

How to minimize strain on your HVAC system during winter?

One way of minimizing strain is by properly insulating your home and fix any leaks that may be present.

When your home is insulated, your HVAC system can maintain the ideal temperature for your home.

When you seal leaks on windows, doors and replace inefficient insulators, your HVAC unit will work efficiently without strain to keep your home comfortable for you and your family. A great way to minimize strain is by having your HVAC contractor inspect your unit before winter, as your technician will be able to inspect and spot any problem. This will help avert any need for sudden expensive repairs during cold winter nights. A programmable thermostat will help you minimize strain on your HVAC system as you will adjust the temperature to a higher or lower setting depending on the season and set it back when you are about to get back home. Another way to reduce strain and warm your home is by allowing the sun to come through your windows. Make sure you open your window blinds and thick curtains during day time and close them when it starts to get dark. The thick curtain will help keep you warm when the curtains are drawn to prevent cold from seeping in through the windows. You can also minimize strain on your unit by installing double glazed windows with inert gas fill between the window panes. These windows are designed to keep your home cool during summer and warm in winter. Installing them may be costly, but the investment eventually pays out as you cut costs on energy bills.

How does opening and closing your house doors affect your HVAC system?

To save energy, some people may choose to close interior doors to their homes so that the target room may still cool for longer. But this practice doesn’t necessarily mean that your system will work efficiently. An HVAC system to work efficiently will need to balance the air it takes in and the air it pushes out. Closing interior doors when operating your HVAC system does more harm than good because the pressure will build up and escape through crevices in walls and other openings. This air will then be replaced by air from outside. This means the process will be counterproductive as the unit will work extra hard to process the air from outside. Modern air conditioners are balanced as a whole. When you disrupt the balance by closing interior doors, your indoor air quality will suffer as you will be forced to compensate for sudden air imbalance. The air that is pulled from outside will have allergens, molds, and outdoor pollutants. This will mean that your indoor air will be significantly compromised. When you close interior doors in the summer, you will find that your home will have increased humidity, and there won’t be any significant improvement in your energy bill. When you keep your interior doors open, air will flow freely in every room; thus, no pressure build-up. Your AC will also cool your home evenly while using less energy. You can install and use fans to increase air circulation in your home as they are considerably cheap to run compared to an air conditioning unit.
