The local independent heat plus a/c supplier was at least able to provide myself and others a rough estimate! That wasn’t so strenuous now was it? Why the local heating plus air conditioner business could not even provide myself and others a ballpark figure on the deep HVAC duct cleaning just cost them a customer! Let this be a lesson to anyone in business that refuses to provide a straight answer when asked a question… You may guess you’re being slick, however all you are doing is risking losing business all together rather than 1 small job; Because now I will never ever use this heating plus air conditioner business again for anything! I was still fairly used to relying on my parents for things, so the sudden transition of being all on my own was difficult at first, and coming beach lake house plus being alone all of the time was also difficult to adjust to. Anyways, a single of the things I was not expecting was having to get used to the cold winters here. The summers are fine however the winters can be incredibly cold, plus it is usual for it to drop below cold. I was raised in a state where it was precious to get below 30 degrees, nevermind in the negatives, then driving in the snow plus ice is a whole other ordeal in itself, especially black ice. Anyways, I discovered so long as I keep my oil furnace up plus running well, I will be okay. That was absolutely my first plus most important lesson, making sure you have an operating oil furnace. This is the kind of state where you can’t live here without some kind of oil furnace, however even for the people who prefer the cold, you are going to need a heating device.
