It’s usually quite cold around this time of the year on the Mediterranean coast but this year it is nice and warm.

February is the coldest month of the year I think and we may not be through all of the absurd cold just yet.

We have a break today in the cold and I think it is going to be almost 78 F today, and you know what that means. Yes you guessed it, I am off to the beach today to hang out with our friends. I can’t play any volleyball though because I’m resting my shoulders. I’m at home now with the heating on still because this site got entirely cold last night as well as even though it’s boiling outside it’s still quite nippy in this flat. The building is made out of concrete and it holds the heat and cold temperatures quite well so it’s taking a while to heat up today. I usually run the gas furnace on about 78 F up until about the time I go to bed then I shut it off for the night. But now since I have a cat I may need to adjust our routine. I guess I’ll let the cat sleep in the kitchen at night, if they sleep at night, and keep the small electric section gas furnace on low so it doesn’t get too cold. The cat is still hiding under the sleeper sofa and when I tried pulling out the bed I saw a little black paw sticking out, so I closed it back up. The bad little thing is still scared from moving to my flat recently.

The pet is still hiding under the sleeper sofa as well. When I tried pulling out the bed I saw a little black paw sticking out, so I closed it back up. The poor little thing is still scared from moving to my flat recently.

My pals love to go on ski trips, and I love them, as well, but, I am entirely not a huge fan of the cold. I often end up spending quite a bit of time in the chalet trying to warm up. Periodically I think like I spend more time inside the chalet than I do on the actual slopes. With guests and staff coming in and out of the chalet, it often takes a while for me to warm up and I end up missing half the fun. There is this single ski resort about an hour outside of the town that I love more than all the others because they simply have the best gas furnace. This chalet is situated at the top of the mountain and it is consistently so warm. They’ve installed radiant floors and a fireplace in the chalet. While I’m aware it’s the radiant floors doing most of the work, it’s also very pleasant and calming to rest by the fire. Because the heating is so effective, I don’t need to take so long to get warm enough to get back out there. When I am skiing, my main problem is the fact that my toes start to get so cold. Even with toe warmers and thick socks, it never seems to be enough. When I get to the chalet, the radiant floors work to heat the entire space, but it is especially nice on my freezing feet. It makes me want to get radiant floors in my house.

While George knows it’s the radiant floors doing most of the work, it is also honestly pleasant and calming to sit by the fire. Because the heating is so effective, he doesn’t need to take as long of a break to assume sizzling enough to get back out there. When George is skiing, his greatest frustration is the fact that his toes start to get so cold. Even with toe warmers plus thick socks, it never seems to be enough. When he gets to the lodge, the radiant floors work to heat the entire space, however it’s especially nice on his frigid feet. It makes George want to get radiant floors in his condo.

While her friends are out of the lodge, it often takes a while for Fiona to warm up and she ends up missing half the fun. There is this one ski resort about an hour outside of the town that Fiona loves more than all the others because they simply have the best oil furnace. This place is located at the top of the mountain and it is always so warm. They have radiant floors together with a fireplace in the lodge. While Fiona thinks it’s the radiant floors doing most of the work, it is also entirely pleasant and calming to rest by the fire. Because the heating is so effective, she doesn’t need to take as long to get warm enough to get back out there. When she’s skiing, Fiona’s biggest problem is always that she toes start to get so cold, however even with toe warmers plus thick socks, it never seems to be enough. When she gets to the lodge, the radiant floors task to heat the entire space, but it is especially nice on her chilly feet. It makes Fiona want to get radiant floors in her home.
