Nutrition Training Coach

After my heart attack, I had a rough time getting back into shape.

  • I was losing weight, and my family worried.

My doctor told me he thought I would do better if I had a nutrition training coach. They set me up with a physical therapist to get my heart working better, while the nutrition training coach gave me a diet to follow. It was a heart-healthy diet that gave a few extra calories to help with my weight problem. Even with the help of the nutritionist, I continued to lose weight, and I was now ten pounds underweight. Before the heart attack, I was almost forty pounds overweight. I wanted to lose weight, but not this quickly. I hoped that weight loss would make me feel better, but I was weaker than I had ever felt. I knew some of the weakness came from the heart attack, but this was ridiculous. I wished I had gone to the physical therapist and nutrition training coach a year ago. Maybe if I had lost that forty pounds back then, I wouldn’t have had the heart attack. I couldn’t believe that after all this, I was now getting depressed. I wanted to go back three months and redo the entire time. I was angry at my husband for yelling at me that night. I almost blamed him for the heart attack. I was angry at the doctor for not giving me a more stern warning about. I was now angry at the nutrition training coach for not giving me a diet that was working.
