My roommate was staring at me when I woke up
One of the first encounters I had with my modern roommate was really unusual as well as bizarre.

She answered an advertisement that I placed on the internet. The woman has good references as well as a security deposit too. She seemed likable enough, so I thought she would be a good fit. None of mornings after the woman moved into the house, I woke up as well as found the woman staring at me. She was laying next to my bed on a small chair as well as she was literally 6in away from my face. I started to scream when I woke up as well as saw her face. At first, I thought she was sleeping in my bed. Then I realized she was on a chair next to the bed. I instantaneously demanded a reason for the intrusion in my personal space. I knew the door was closed when I went to sleep. The guys started rambling on about the gas furnace as well as the indoor temperature. My modern roommate Jack didn’t want to wake me up to tell me about the complication with the gas furnace. She decided to let me sleep, which I thought was really nice. I thought it was creepy that she sat next to the bed as well as waited for me to wake up. Also, the gas furnace wasn’t on at the time. I’ve had a couple of other weird encounters with Jack, however that 1 was really the strangest. I actually hope I didn’t make a mistake when I decided to let a stranger move into my home.
