My friend’s now spouse thought she was deranged on their first date
Catie certainly doesn’t like being hot.
She gets entirely irritated when she isn’t in the air conditioning in the summer.
She met her now spouse, Tom at labor & he asked her on a date. It happened to be in the middle of October & it was an seriously hot & humid day outside, then tom asked Catie to go out to a nice eating establishment, 1 that requires you to dress up a bit. When Catie was getting ready for their date, she was uneasy & already perspiring because of that, but her central air conditioning hastily stopped working while she was getting ready & the temperature in her home increased to what felt like torture for her. Catie was also rushing & she didn’t have any time to contact her local service provider to get an Heating & Air Conditioning specialist to come out & service her air conditioning. Her hair was frizzy & her makeup was perspiring off. Her red lipstick smeared all over her face but she didn’t have time to check herself in the mirror because Tom was outside in his car waiting for her. Catie got into Tom’s car all frazzled from not having a/c when she got ready. She apologized & asked if he could turn the air conditioning in his car all the way up. Tom wasn’t sure if he should tell Catie about her makeup situation, so he just turned the a/c up & got quiet. When they walked into the air conditioned eating establishment, Catie went to the washroom to check on her appearance. She was humiliated & ran out to Tom screaming at him because he didn’t tell her she looked this way. He thought she was deranged but they ended up getting married.
