My friend's a beekeeper
I live out in the country, and although our neighbor lives further away from me, it is quite interesting to watch them for a distance… My neighbor is a beekeeper and honey salesman, but she sells all natural honey that is hive fresh.
I personally have bought various bottles of honey from him, and I love to put it on our toast in the day, and although she is a small beekeeping site, she seems to have plenty of honey for sale, which is fantastic by me, because I will happily buy several bottles.
Anyways, she has some of her bee colonies in her backyard, and it is interesting to watch him all dressed up in her white suit, come out and start poking around the bee colonies. I don’t know much about beekeepers and what they do, so I’m not sure what exactly she is doing, I just know they make fantastic honey. I rarely ever get honey bees close to our home, but whenever I do, I just call our neighbor over and she happily takes them to add to her ever-growing colony. She strongly believes in bee rescue, and cannot resist saving honey bees. I have watched year after year, her bee colony gets greater. Now she practically has her own honey bee farm, all in her backyard, then even more aggressive bugs, like wasps, she doesn’t know in wasp extermination. She simply catches all wasps and relocates them, and has done various wasp removal in her days. My neighbor always gives myself and others something to watch.
