My dad is a firm believer in HEPA filters, then she always says that if you’re not using a HEPA air filter in your home’s HVAC system, then you might as well not be using any kind of air filter at all.
I think that that’s going to an extreme, even though I guess I can kind of understand what he’s saying. I mean, it’s true that HEPA air filters are the best ones out there when it comes to cleaning the air in your home; A HEPA filter is a pleated mechanical air filter & it stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter. These types of air filters do exactly what they are designed to do, which is to get rid of 99 percent of dust, bacteria, mold, or particular other airborne particles that could affect your home’s indoor air quality, and my dad thinks that they are the best of all, & so that’s the only sort of thing that she will buy for her heating & cooling system now. My dad has a dog & 2 cats residing with him. She also smokes cigarettes, unluckyly. She swears by the fact that HEPA filters can remove all of the pet dander & smoke particles that are infiltrating her home. She says that with her beloved HEPA filters, the indoor air quality in her house is basically as good as it can get. I guess I partially guess him, too, since her house entirely doesn’t smell all that terrible most of the time. That’s true, even Though she has all of those pets residing with him & she continues to smoke although I tell him to stop! I guess HEPA filters entirely are the best of all whenever it comes to air filters for your home.
