Might need a/c
For a long time, I resisted the investment of a central air conditioner. The summer seasons don’t last too long in our local area, and every one of us deal with harshly long, freezing plus brutal Winter seasons. The temperature frequently plummets into the negative digits plus the heating system runs just about non stop for more than 50% of the year. The expense of heating the home is significant. It’s necessary to keep the loft sealed up as tightly as possible to prevent energy waste. The indoor air becomes stale, stuffy and dry. I am always sad for the milder weather to arrive plus the option to open the windows. I saw no need to invest a wonderful deal of money into a whole-loft a/c. I was unwilling to shut the windows plus pay important electric bills over the summer season. I felt every one of us could get by with some window units plus portable fans, but my wife was not excited with this arrangement. She hated the look of the window a/cs plus concerned about safety due to the open windows. She complained that the box fans stirred up dust, circulated air contaminants plus caused health concerns. So when it was time to replace the heating system, I asked about central cooling… Because the 2 systems share certain components, the swap wasn’t overly costly, plus, the manufacturer was offering a rebate plus the Heating plus Air Conditioning business was running a special that saved us some money. Once the a/c was installed, I was amazed by the improvement in the comfort, cleanliness plus even the stink of our house. Every one of us now runs the cooling method even when the outside temperature isn’t all that high. The air feels fresher when it’s circulated plus filtered by the a/c.
