If energy bills get out of control it might be time to replace the air conditioner or furnace

It’s not easy reigning in a bunch of children.

I knew that I always wanted to be a father, but I had no idea how hard it would actually be.

No matter what, I’m worrying about at least one of them at any given moment. And once you put out one fire, you have two more waiting for you. Whether I have to pick one of them up from school, take one to the hospital or doctor after a sudden accident, or I’m cleaning up messes and spills in the kitchen and living room. There is never a dull day as a parent. And on top of any problems you might fear with your childrens’ safety, you’re also responsible to keep them active, entertained, and happy. Often you’re blamed if you don’t, which makes parenting a really difficult job. Right now I’m trying to get them to better respect the household, especially the air conditioner. Until now, I never saw the need to impose strict guidelines with the thermostat. However, when I start feeling cold in my home office and find the temperature set to 67 degrees in the living room, I get frustrated quickly. When the electricity bill went up for the third straight month, I put a plastic lock box over the thermostat. But this is when things got interesting; instead of lowering my energy bills, they didn’t budge. My HVAC technician inspected my system and said it was time for a replacement. It gave us 17 years of solid service in this house. The new air conditioner is phenomenal and we’re already seeing a drop in our electricity bill. If your energy bills get too crazy, you might want to consider getting a new air conditioner or furnace.
