I went for the absolute best investment of my life the other day.
I saw that as the right time to get radiant heated floors for my bungalow. It had been my dream for a while, but my best option was to wait until I had the money saved up. The radiant heated floors forced me to hire some construction workers ahead of the installation to remove the thick carpet. After that, the radiant heated floors came next. I was fortunate to have wood flooring underneath, so the carpet removal wasn’t that hard. Still, paying the construction crew wasn’t cheap. Once I had everything done and the radiant heated floors were in, I now feel warm despite it being the middle of winter. It’s the best feeling ever to be so comfortable in my home. I’m also saving money on energy use too because radiant heated floors operate using sizzling water pipes and don’t require much energy. The control equipment is about the only thing that takes any sort of energy. Now if only they had something like radiant heated floors for air conditioning. I’m hoping one day heat & cooling system technology reaches such a point so that I can buy it for my home. It makes me happy thinking of how angry the energy companies would be. They will no longer manage to rip off people anymore by taking half of their hard earned money with an energy saver like that. I’m happy to be able to save money this Wintertime because of the radiant heated floors.
