I thought I would get to relax on our day off
5 nights each month I work as an Heating & Air Conditioning repair professional.
Sometimes I work 8 hours a day and some nights I work 10 or 12 hours.
The boss doesn’t usually schedule me to work on Heating & Air Conditioning repairs on the weekends, because I have a wifey and multiple children. I try to spend time with the kids and our wifey on our nights off. The two of us have fun adventures and go to the park or the math museum. The kids love to go to the beach or the lake. I do not mind where the people I was with and I go as long as I get to relax on our day off. I was hoping to relax on our day off last Friday. It was our only day off during the week, because I agreed to help our boss with a ductless Heating & Air Conditioning installation project on Friday. I was extremely sleepy and our wifey agreed to take the kids to the zoo on Friday day so I could sleep as late as I wanted. I got up to use the bathroom right after our wifey and the kids left. That’s when I realized that the toilet was leaking. I wanted to go back to sleep, so I turned off the water supply to the toilet. Of course, I laid in bed and I could not suppose about anything except the toilet. There was particularly no way I was going to go back to sleep after I knew there was a concern in the house. I got out of bed and made a cup of coffee. I found our tools and I started examining the issue with the toilet. I tried to turn the water back on for a second and the knob broke off in our hand. Then the water really started leaking.
