I think zoned heating plus cooling is a safer option
I have a lot of pets… No, not dogs plus cats, then i have more non-traditional pets.
I keep hedgehogs, sugar gliders, plus ferrets. I have consistently had one room in the home that is the pet room! All of those exotic pets need a little more heat than I like so I have consistently just used a portable furnace in the pet room to keep them comfortable, but well, on Monday the ferrets got out of their cage while I was at work, then they knocked over the portable heater. Thank God the portable furnace has a safety off feature. I assume it turns itself off if it falls or if anything is in front of the grill. Without that, there could have been a fire, however even knowing that the safety advertised did labor in the portable furnace I still don’t assume comfortable with it in the room unsupervised anymore. What if it fails the next time the ferrets escape? I am looking into more safe possibilities plus I came across zoned heating plus cooling. With zoned heating plus cooling l I wouldn’t need a portable furnace at all. Each room of the home would have its own control component plus temperature setting. I wouldn’t need a whole modern Heating plus Air Conditioning program either. The unusual temperature settings are accomplished by having dampers in the ductwork system. These dampers control how much heating or cooling gets to each room based on the control component settings. I assume like this would be a safer option for our pet room so I hired a reputable Heating plus Air Conditioning business to come out plus start labor on it on Monday.
