I spent our Heating as well as A/C money on weed
So maybe I did squander all of our stimulus money on stupid stuff, so what? What did you do with the check sent to you in the middle of the pandemic? I won’t justify our bad decisions, although I suppose I had an understandable reason for making them; I was cut off from the world for weeks, plus as a woman with a honestly active social life, this was strenuous for me.
- I was most unquestionably not in our regular frame of mind when the check went right into our bank account! They say “easy come, easy go” plus instead of sinking the money into a new Heating as well as A/C plan I went to the online dispensary plus purchased as much weed as I could.
Fast forward to the start of summer, our a/c still doesn’t work, plus I am out of weed again. The next 3 weeks are supposed to be the hottest Summer on record, so getting a cooling plan has now taken priority over getting stoned. There is no way I can possibly afford a new Heating as well as A/C plan unless the president starts kicking out checks again. Instead, I am trying the cheap option, plus getting a small, portable cooling machine for Walmart. The online reviews for these machines, which are the same size as a space heater, are not great, although I suppose it will be better than nothing… Each of these little AC units is enjoyable for cooling down one room, so while it won’t update our central system, hopefully it will help myself and others survive the summer.
