I need a car with an air conditioner.
For the last two years I have been doing mechanical work on my car.
I guess that I should expect to have to make repairs since my car is twenty years old.
I have over 200,000 miles on the car. I would still be making repairs to the car if the air conditioning didn’t quit working. I refuse to drive a car that doesn’t have air conditioning. Our entire summer is filled with days on end where the temperature is one hundred degrees or higher. No one wants to drive around in a hot stuffy car when they don’t have air conditioning. I really don’t want to get rid of my car, but I know I have to. My friend told me that an HVAC system for a car can be more expensive than any other repair you would have to make. That sounds to me like when the air conditioning unit goes out, you get rid of the car. Now, I guess I am going to need to buy a new car. I will be looking for a good car that will last ten or fifteen years again. I also expect to have the air conditioning unit to work for that entire time. When it is hot, I can’t drive an hour to work and an hour back without the air conditioning. There are days when I use the air conditioning in the winter. I use the air conditioning nearly every day of the year. I hope I can find a good car soon. The weather is beginning to heat up again.
