I guess I’m going to get fired on Monday
I’m pretty sure that I’m going to lose my task on Monday day when I go to work. I was supposed to be the on-call service professional on Sunday and Wednesday, however I missed 2 service calls. I have been working for the same Heating plus A/C service company for the past year and things are shaky at best. I’m often late for work and I’m usually experiencing some style of mild hangover. This is the minute time that I have been on call for emergency repairs and missed calls. The first time was due to a celebration and the boss provided me a split because it was Super Bowl weekend. I guess she is not going to provide me a split this time, because she was the a single that called me Sunday day around eight. I absolutely talked to my boss on the telephone. She called to have me go to her Mom’s site to work on the equipment. I barely remembered talking to my boss until I woke up at noon. I had seven missed calls from my boss and another missed call from a different customer. The last message from my boss said that I should meet him in the office sharp at nine on Monday. She also told me not to bother answering the PC on Wednesday, because she was scheduling someone else to work the emergency repairs. I’m pretty sure that I won’t be working there after Monday day. I do not have an excuse or reason for my lack of performance other than I guess my drinking might be a problem.
