I don't think everyone needs to have the same dream

Both of my older children are a great inspiration for their little sister who is 10 years younger

I don’t think that all of my children will go to college and that’s okay with me. I want my kids to be successful in life and I don’t think that means that they need to have a degree. My daughter is about 5 years older than my first son. When she graduated from high school, she went to college and got a job at a bank. She still works at the same bank and now she is married with a child. When my first son graduated from high school, he decided to pursue a different dream. He was worried that my husband and I would be upset or ashamed of his career choice, but we only wanted him to be happy and successful. My son chose to attend a technical training school so he could learn how to repair and install heating and air conditioning equipment. My husband and I are very proud of his choices and now he works in a full-time HVAC career. He is a great help when we have issues with our heater or air conditioning equipment. Both of my older children are a great inspiration for their little sister who is 10 years younger. She was a late-in-life surprise, but she is an absolute joy and one of the best surprises of my entire life. My husband and I are proud of all of our children and we know that they will be successful in life and in their chosen careers. There is nothing better than being a proud mom or dad with children that are successful members of society.
