I am getting into real estate
My whole family is in the real estate mindset.
My older sister focuses on getting major home complexes. She has numerous doors for rent and stays near the city. My younger sister does smaller single family homes for rent in the country. For me I love to look at apartments near our house. I have worked with the same real estate agent that only handles property in our small town. Lola is constantly calling me about apartments going for sale or single family homes. I now have three home rentals. I have a family of three in a house, numerous separate leaseholders in a duplex and one girl renting out a medium sized home I just bought. I am already prepared to purchase our next piece of real estate. I was considering either moving into commercial real estate like doing a storage facility, or just doing a larger home complex. I would love to have more than numerous renters in a building. I have considered scaling back too. I have looked into property management services. I am constantly going over to our rental units. I have changed sinks, fixed brick floors and added a porch to one locale. Thank the lord I am basically a glorified handyman. I have saved quite a bit of cash on Heating and Air Conditioning and plumbing. However, I am losing time working on our new rentals when I could be hunting for new ones. That is why I guess hiring out management services might be best. That way I have time and much less stress when I add a new door.
