Getting an HVAC duct damper
After the youngsters moved out of the house and finally went to school, my partner and I were left with a lot of space and sadly no people to fill it; but all of us decided to get another cat, but the two of us still found our sounds barely using only half of the house… I wanted to save money on the heating and also cooling bill, and then I decided to install a damper to help divert some of the cool air to the rest of the house…
The damper closes down the vents in the back of the house where there are two study rooms that aren’t being used.
The damper allows us to cool only parts of our home. It was a lot cheaper than installing a zone heating and also a cooling unit. The best section about the damper is the fact that the two of us can still diver hot or cool air to that section of the house if the youngsters are staying here for a few afternoons… Right now, it was an straight-forward service and also a wonderful solution to our problem. I miss having the youngsters around every afternoon, but they are doing absolutely well at school too… One of our guys goes to University to study chemistry and then she plays soccer and then our other kid is in her first year of medical school! My kid just started school and then she is going to focus on education. My wifey and also I could not be prouder of our children, but the two of us do miss hearing the sound of their voices. Thankfully they call us often and also come to visit whenever they have a holiday.
