Already thinking about saving on Heating and Air Conditioning this coming summer

I love this time of year for more than just the holiday season.

While I love Christmas and much of what goes with it, I definitely am blissful that I’m not dealing with all the chilly that so several are.

Having to keep the Heating and Air Conditioning heating cranking all the time just no to freeze does not sound at all ideal to me. I’ve given it a try a few times while in visits to family who lives up north, I’ll let them keep the gas oil furnace. This time of year is also nice because the heat pump is finally all but silent. There isn’t much call for heating where I live. So this time of year, it’s nice that the heat pump gets a break. And I get a split from all the Heating and Air Conditioning cooling cost. I’m already deciding to actually be proactive when it comes to saving on a/c next year. What I’ve been spending is both a waste of resources and not sustainable spending. I could do a lot more with that currency beside over cooling a beach house that is empty as much as it’s occupied. So I’m reviewing odd strategies on how to seal up the beach house and mitigate direct sunlight heating. But it actually appears that the greatest area of any Heating and Air Conditioning cooling conservation strategy is the thermostat. So I’m going to have the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier come out after the holidays to install a smart thermostat. I guess that will be the key to making sure our beach house is in the 77’s while in the peak heating minutes but comfortable in the night when both of us are at home.
