Ally had to phone an AC technician last summer
When winter passed, Ally had to start making preparations for her summer business.
It was the most lucrative time for her as a beverage vendor.
She made a whole host of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. After being in business for five years, she had a list of clients whose orders were already streaming in. Her skills were blending the drinks that customers ordered in advance perfectly. However, last year she got so many orders that she forgot to phone the AC company. Once spring arrived, she began gathering all the ingredients she needed for her business. The season passed without calling an AC technician to come and service her cooling unit. Since she worked from home, it was her saving grace during those hot summer months. Ally began delivering drinks to her customers about two weeks into summer. All thoughts of the aircon repair and maintenance weren’t in her mind. That’s why it took her by surprise when one day her air conditioner shut down. Ally noticed the change in the kitchen immediately and knew something was wrong with the quality AC. She stopped her preparations and went to check the AC thermostat. The LED display screen was pitch black. As she was turning the air ventilation system on and off, reality dawned on her. She had forgotten to phone the HVAC company for spring maintenance. As fast as she could, she located her phone and placed the call. Luckily, an aircon expert was available to come and check the cooling unit. When he arrived, he informed her that the air filter was clogged, so the HVAC unit shut down. It took him several hours to clean the air filter and repair a few parts before turning on the heating and cooling unit. Ally promised to put a reminder on her computer so that she’d get the air conditioner serviced in the fall.
