A blower concern

I recently had an issue with a heating device blower that wouldn’t turn off! The constant operation resulted in super high utility bills, plus I worried about the heating method quitting actually plus not lasting as long due to wear plus tear.

  • So I hoped that by googling the concern plus checking it myself, I might avoid a costly repair bill from a professional.

So online, numerous articles suggested that the temperature control settings might be the problem. The temperature control signals the heating system when to turn on or off. I first verified that the fan setting was set to AUTO rather than ON. In the ON position the blower is told to run non stop. In the AUTO degree, it only operates when the heating system is producing heat. I also read that the temperature wasn’t set overly high, forcing the heating system to keep working in order to achieve it, and since I kept the temperature control set at around 80 degrees, I didn’t guess this could be the issue. The next choice was the fan limit switch, situated under the heating system hood. I doubted that this hidden switch somehow got adjusted to MANUAL or ON however took care of it anyway. I needed to locate the panel to locate the switch. I tried resetting it, hoping this would make a difference, however it didn’t. I had no option however to contact an Heating plus Air Conditioning company plus schedule a repair! Fortunately, I was able to get an appointment for the following afternoon. The worker was tied up to arrive anytime within an eight-hour window, which meant taking a day off from work. I was actually pleased when I got a call in the afternoon with an approximate ETA plus the worker showed up right on time, and he discovered that it was a disappointing fan limit switch plus had it fixed within an hour.
