My wife went all out for my birthday
My birthday is coming up soon and I have been hinting to my wife that I really want a new smart thermostat. I have heard nothing but amazing things about smart thermostats. Evidently, they can save you as much as 10% on your energy bills and I love the idea of being able to control the HVAC via our smartphones. Whenever I say anything about a smart thermostat, my wife just smiles and walks away. I wonder if that means she already invested in a smart thermostat, but I don’t know! The suspense is totally killing me and I can’t wait to see how everything goes down. Well, my wife actually arranged for me and some buddies to go out on a fishing trip. She rented us a small yacht and everything. The yacht was perfect because it had an indoor area with climate control. The neat thing is that the yacht also had a smart thermostat that we could connect to with our phones. This gave me a taste of what it was like to use a smart thermostat. I wondered if my wife was just teasing me and letting me use the smart thermostat on this fishing trip. Would I still get my smart thermostat for my birthday? When we eventually came home from the fishing trip, my wife insisted that I stay at my buddy’s house until the morning of my birthday. I thought that was strange but I listened to her. When I arrived in the morning back at my house, she surprised me with not just a new smart thermostat but a new HVAC system as well! The HVAC is highly energy efficient and the smart thermostat has all kinds of advanced features. I can’t wait to see how low our energy bills are after using it!
