Is it ok to buy a scratch plus dent HVAC unit?
My brother is a construction worker plus has been doing this for about 10 years now.
It’s wonderful to have someone working in construction because if I need to perform any improvements on our home, he knows a guy.
When I needed the landscaping done outside, he knew a guy. When I needed to install up-to-date countertops for our family room, he knew a guy. When I needed to renovate our bathroom, he also knew a guy for that too. If I need our roof done, I am certain that he knows someone that could perform that work; So, yes, I benefit from our brother being in the construction business. He benefits as well because he comes in contact with so many different dealers plus companies on the task. A few weeks ago, he needed a up-to-date HVAC unit for his home. I thought he would’ve gone to one of the major HVAC providers in city to get a up-to-date cooling system, however instead he went to a scratch plus dent supplier plus was able to get a working unit for way less than if he had purchased a up-to-date one. Some people believe these scratch plus dent HVAC units are broken, plus of course, there should be problem because who wants to buy anything with a dent in it. It means that the unit fell plus could have had something loosen inside… But our brother hasn’t had an issue with his HVAC unit so far. He said he gained it with a warranty, so if anything goes wrong the supplier will rectify the problem, then plus, the supplier is his cooling system guy, so I suppose if I ever need a up-to-date HVAC unit, that will be the guy that I will use.
