A company made my wifey and I really scared when we bought our modern house.
When we looked at the house, it wasn’t vacant. The family was swimming in the pool and having lots of fun. The thought of entertaining outside like those people made us decide to get the house. The backyard and the pool were some of the biggest reasons why we chose to buy the loft that was 22 grand over our top budget. A few days after the sale was finalized, we got in touch with a pool company to talk about adding a railing and a slide to the pool. At that time, the pool electrical company informed us that it was unsafe for us or our kids to swim in the pool until the light inside of the pool could be inspected. We couldn’t believe what the electrical company said to us. My wife and I saw another family swimming in the same pool less than a week previously and this electrician was convinced that we were in grave danger if we jumped into the pool. My wife and I weren’t sure how to respond, but the guy scared us enough that we paid for the electrical work to be done that week. We do not know if it was necessary but he sure made us feel so unsafe if we didn’t pay the fees and replace the lighting. We got a brand modern light and lights that line the walkway and lights that automatically come on when there is motion in the pool
