I couldn't use the pool until the lighting issue was fixed

- A contractor really made my wife and I feel scared when we bought our new house.
When we looked at the house, it was occupied. The family was swimming in the pool and having a grand time. The thought of entertaining outside like those people made us feel more in love with the house. The backyard and the pool were two of the biggest reasons why we decided to buy the house that was 25 grand over our top budget. Shortly after the sale was finalized, I called a pool contractor to discuss adding a railing and a slide to the pool. At that time, the pool electrical contractor informed me that it was unsafe for my family and I to swim in the pool until the light inside of the pool could be serviced. I couldn’t believe what the electrical contractor said to me. We saw another family swimming in the same pool less than a month previously and now this electrical contractor was convinced that my family was in grave danger if jumped into the pool. I didn’t know what to do, but the guy scared me enough that I paid for the electrical work to be done that week. I don’t know if it was necessary but he sure made me feel like my family was in danger if I didn’t pay the fees and upgrade the lighting. We got a brand new light as well as lights that line the walkway and lights that automatically come on when there is motion in the pool.
