Dad changes the thermostat settings consistently throughout the day

My dad alters the control unit pretty frequently.

He is a person who works from the beach house full-time which is why he uses the cooling program daily, all year round.

At the start of each day when dad gets up, he changes the temperature on the control unit from 72 to 79. Dad and mom enjoy sleeping in a slightly frigid room, so the AC program gets adjusted down absolutely low before they go to bed each night. Thank goodness, our beach house has good insulation, so the heat slowly rises throughout the afternoon. The cooling program often doesn’t start working until midday, when the excess sunshine warms up the house. When dad comes from the beach house to get us from school, he turns the control unit up to 80. There’s no there, so the beach house doesn’t require any cooling. The school run can periodically last hours. After we get back home, dad changes the control unit down to 77 to cater for the extra persons in the house. In addition, it keeps him cool while preparing dinner. Experiencing the cold air coming out of the vents all over his head is more than a lovely feeling while he stirs over the overheated stove or gets food from the oven. About 30 minutes before bedtime, dad turns the control unit back down to 79. If it’s not a bit crisp in his space, dad can’t get a wink of sleep. Mercifully, none of us cares about his generous use of the cooling program at night. Actually, thewhite noise from the cooling unit makes it easier to rest. Shifting the control unit in our beach house daily is a must so that dad can concentrate and relax.
