Should I switch to the trainer with climate control?

I have been training my dog agility work for about a year now.

He is getting really good at it and we finally had our first trial.

Of course we did terribly. My dog forgot everything he had learned. That is to be expected. The excitement of the actual trial can do that to people and pets. I did find out something very interesting though. I found out that the place where the trials were held also does agility training. Don’t get me wrong. I love my trainer. The only problem is that my current agility classes are all held outdoors. This means that there is no climate control. The sun beats down on us in the summer and the wind whips around in the winter. It is not pleasant. This new place has climate control. The trials were all held indoors with the air conditioner running. It was very nice and comfortable. I think I would look forward to training in a facility like this all summer long. I have to admit, I have not been looking forward to training again in the summer months. I really like my air conditioning. Having to run around for an hour, with no air conditioning, is very taxing. Another advantage in this new place is that my dog might do better at the next trials if he trains in the same place where the trials are held. I just don’t know though. Like I said, I really like my regular trainer. Besides, she goes to the trials with her dogs. I might feel weird meeting her after switching to a place with climate control. On the other hand, I really have to do what is best for me and my dog.
