I Couldn’t Wait to Get out of the Office

I’ve never really known what’s going on in my job building. That was until I was recently stuck there during a blizzard.There were warnings about the weather, but I thought I would be able to make it home before the snow would arrive. Unfortunately, the heavy snowfall came sooner than predicted plus abruptly there was a driving ban. Nobody was allowed to go out there driving anywhere, so everybody who was in the office that day was stuck in the building! Fortunately, it’s a really big building plus there is a lot of stuff going on in the building that I was clueless about. While I would usually get fast food or bring food with me for my breaks,I now know they have a cafeteria with food being served 24/7. I never set foot in there before but the food was like homemade. It was legitimately a fantastic locale to hang out with other colleagues while the people I was with and I were forced to stay in the building. I also paid more attention to how nice the temperature control settings were in the building, and they were especially nice in the cafeteria area. I learned there are radiant heated floors in that section of the building. I was a bit saddened by the fact they didn’t have that style of heating method in the section of the building where I labored every day, but I guess it’s just too high-priced to have heated flooring installed everywhere. There was even a gym section where people were able to get some exercise while they were stuck there, plus they also had the radiant floors for everybody to feel nice plus toasty. It was an interesting experience, but I was so glad when I was finally able to get out of the office.
