I can’t pay for my HVAC system without a job

With so much going on all around us, the health crisis has only been exacerbated by the economic crisis.

I’m not sure which one is worse.

However, I am almost 60 and I don’t want to get this virus. That’s why staying inside in the comfort and security of our HVAC controlled beach home hasn’t been as hard for me to take. The alternative would be far, far worse. But, there is the money side to all of this, too. Without paying jobs, there will not be any HVAC comfort inside our beach home because I won’t be able to spend our money for it at all. Fortunately for me, I am able to still do our job from home. But, my wife has seen her paycheck greatly reduced due to their furlough as well as bringing her back at some reduced hours. So, I am trying to find other things to do online once my regular job is done. And this means that quite a bit of time is spent inside enjoying the HVAC. It dawned on me that I might want to make the air quality a bit more of a priority in the house. I have long been aware of how crucial air quality is to a person’s immune system. But I still haven’t done anything about it. It wouldn’t take all that much to genuinely improve the air that I breathe throughout my day. It’s not as if I’m only sleeping here and nothing else! So, remarkably better air quality costs me less than $10 more per week! I just upgraded to a HEPA type air filter and the difference has been staggering.
