I am against wasp and bee extermination because they help pollinate my garden

My brother is really adamant about his lawn and his house.

He uses fertilizer and manure on a monthly basis, runs his sprinklers multiple times a week, and is out there mowing and trimming every other day.

Like Hank from King of the Hill, my brother’s lawn is his hobby and his life. I don’t even know where he got it from, because neither of my parents took much interest in landscaping. They always had an outside company of some kind do it for them after I left for college and wasn’t around to do it myself anymore. I think he bought an expensive lawn mower after he landed his current job and he has developed the hobby out of a desire to make use of his investment. It’s common to want to use a new toy a lot after you buy it, so I suppose I can’t really blame him in the end. However, I was happy the other day when he told me about his appointment with the insect exterminator. I don’t really care about him spraying for ants and spiders, but I take issue with his treatment of his bees and wasps. I have a huge garden with a lot of flowers that desperately need to be pollinated or the buds won’t bloom. Because of my garden, I could never imagine a scenario where I would willingly kill wasps or bees in my yard as long as they weren’t swarming inside my house. Unfortunately, my brother hates all of them and will kill any kind of insect in his yard. It doesn’t matter what kind of bug it is, my brother will use heavy chemicals to completely wipe them out.
