Can it be a thermostat problem?
My air conditioning was working well when I went to bed. When I woke up, it was no longer working. I didn’t know what was wrong with the air conditioner. I tried everything I could think of, including trying to find the reset button. When everything I did didn’t make a difference, I started wondering if it was the thermostat. I knew that if the thermostat was broken, the heating and air conditioning wouldn’t work. I didn’t know how to check a thermostat. I called my sister to ask what I should do to check the thermostat. She had no idea what to do, so she told me to call the HVAC company. I couldn’t see calling the HVAC company if all it was,, was the thermostat. I decided to call a friend of mine, but I couldn’t make the call. He was almost an hour away and I knew he would come to the house, but it didn’t seem fair. I finally broke down and called him. I had to have an answer and he would have it for me. When I called, he answered immediately. He asked me what was going on and I told him about the air conditioning. Before I could tell him not to come over, he had already gotten into his car and he was leaving. When he got to the house, I think I gave him the best laugh of his life. His first question was if I had changed the batteries in the thermostat. I just stared at him. I didn’t know there were batteries in the thermostat.
